This is the second special edition V4 Streetfighter to come out of the Volkswagen-owned Lamborghini and Ducati partnership.
Both Ducati and Lamborghini are known for making some of the most exotic-looking bikes and cars. Their exoticism was further enhanced when both decided to collaborate and come up with special edition models. At first, it was the Diavel 1260 Lamborghini, and later in 2022, they revealed the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini.
Now the Volkswagen-owned Italian marques are back again and this time in the name of “art in elegant spaces”. At the recently concluded “Art of Creating Myths” event held in Bologna, the Italian giants premiered “Centauro” based on the V4 Streetfighter, created by the Italian artist Paolo Troilo.

The new “Centauro” Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini Special Clienti (yes that’s the name) is a one-of-build. It is a follow-up to the “Minotauro”, a painting of the same theme based on the bodywork of a Lamborghini Huracan EVO that was unveiled in 2021.
Part of the exclusivity of the “Centauro” Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini Special Clienti comes from the artist Paolo Troilo himself. The Italian is known for his unique technique of hyper-realistic finger painting. The “Centauro” artwork is a figurative representation of the arms of a man bent in acceleration which emerge on two sides of the tank. The rest of the bodywork is complete with abstract geometric decomposition. To know more about how the bike was designed check the video below.
Yes. Both the Centauro and Minotauro will be on display to the public in Galleria Cavour. After which it will be sent off to the client, the one who commissioned the “Centauro”.
No. Unlike the Ducati Streetfighter V4 Lamborghini which was a commissioned project between Lamborghini and Ducati and was produced in very limited numbers. The “Centauro” is a private commission, so there’s only one example of this build on this planet.

However, mechanically the “Centauro” remains the same as the standard V4 Streetfighter. So it's the same 1103 cc V4 engine with those iconic Desmodromic valve systems. This mill produces 206 bhp and 123 Nm. With a kerb weight of just 201 kg (wet), the V4 Streetfighter can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in under 4 seconds (approx). So, don’t worry, even if you can’t afford the super exclusive “Centauro” in India, you can still purchase the standard V4 Streetfighter which is priced at ₹25.86 lakh (ex-showroom).
