CES 2024: Acer Unveils New Swift Laptops with Intel Core Ultra CPUs

Acer has expanded its Swift family of thin and light laptops with new models featuring the latest CPUs from Intel with integrated AI acceleration. The Acer Swift Go 16, Swift Go 14, and Swift X 14 laptops claim to offer powerful performance for content creation and productivity, along with enhanced AI capabilities.

The Swift Go 16 and 14 are equipped with Intel's latest Core Ultra processors and Intel Arc GPUs. This combination is said to deliver impressive performance alongside an all-day battery life of up to 12.5 hours on the 16-inch model and 10.5 hours on the 14-inch model. Both laptops also feature AI enhancements like Copilot key for accessing the AI assistant and AI-boosted webcam features for improved video calls.

These new Swift laptops come equipped with vibrant OLED displays ranging from 14 to 16 inches with high colour accuracy and brightness. The displays are certified for eye comfort as well. The laptops also offer fast Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, large touchpads with multi-control options, up to 32GB RAM, and 2TB SSD storage.

The Swift X 14 takes creativity and productivity to another level with powerful Intel Core Ultra and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs. Its Calman-verified 2.8K OLED panel is said to deliver incredible colour accuracy. This model also provides AI-enhanced webcam features and thermal technologies to keep things cool under heavy workloads.

Pricing begins at $799 for the Swift Go 16, $749 for the Swift Go 14 and $1,399 for the Swift X 14. All three laptops will be available for purchase starting next month.
