Asus Zenbook S 13 OLED maintains its title as the world's slimmest 13.3-inch OLED laptop.
Asus has announced updates to its popular Zenbook and Vivobook laptop lines for 2024. The premium Zenbook S 13 OLED and mainstream Vivobook Classic series receive performance, design and sustainability upgrades.
The new Zenbook S 13 OLED maintains its title as the world's slimmest 13.3-inch OLED laptop at just 1cm thin. Available with up to the latest Intel Core Ultra 7 155U processor with 32GB RAM, the super-light 1kg laptop promises no compromise power in a thin-and-light package.
Asus has also refined the design and build quality to reduce weight and thickness using magnesium alloy and thin glass. Techniques like embedding the camera and using ultrathin components allow a 30% slimmer lid. Precision engineering and optimized layouts further shrink the lower chassis by 25%.
The Zenbook S 13 introduces an Asus-exclusive plasma ceramic aluminium material crafted using eco-friendly processes, and each lid design is unique.
The 16:10 3K OLED display with Dolby Vision, VESA DisplayHDR 600 and Pantone validation ensures accurate and vivid colours for premium visuals. The Asus Lumina panel also reduces blue light by 70% and offers a free burn-in repair warranty.
Asus claims the Zenbook S 13 provides all-day battery life and fast charging. Connectivity options include dual Thunderbolt 4 ports and HDMI 2.1 without dongles. An upgraded AI-powered 3DNR webcam and Harman Kardon speakers enhance conferencing.
Asus has also refreshed its Vivobook Classic series with new 14, 15, 16 and 17-inch models. Powered by up to Intel Core 7 (Series 1) CPUs and WiFi 6, the lightweight laptops feature slim bezels, and TÜV Rheinland eye care displays up to 2.5K resolution.
Available in four colours, the Vivobook Classics emphasize portability with all-day battery life and features such as Asus AI noise cancellation, which optimizes conference calls.
