CES 2024: Asus Unveils ROG Zephyrus & Strix Gaming Laptop Lineup

Asus has unveiled its lineup of ROG gaming laptops for 2024, introducing redesigned Zephyrus and Strix models packed with the latest cutting-edge specs, gorgeous new designs, and powerful cooling systems.

The ROG Zephyrus G14 and G16 have received a complete redesign inside and out. Both thin-and-light machines feature an all-new milled aluminium chassis and customizable RGB lighting on the lid. The Zephyrus G14 weighs just 1.5kg while maintaining a thin 1.59cm profile.

Powering the Zephyrus lineup is up to a Ryzen 8000 Series CPU and up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU. The G16 can be configured with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 185H and RTX 4090 GPU. Both models also debut OLED display options, with the G14 offering a 3K, 120Hz panel and the G16 a 2.5K, 240Hz screen. The Zephyrus utilizes liquid metal and Arc Flow fans, while higher-end models incorporate vapour chambers.

ROG's flagship Strix series gets a performance boost with Intel's new Core i9-14900HX CPU. The top-of-the-line Strix SCAR 18 is the first ROG laptop with an 18-inch Mini LED display. It features over 2,000 dimming zones for incredible HDR performance.

The Strix SCAR 16 and 18 packs the RTX 4090 GPU with up to 175W of power. Other Strix models offer the RTX 4080 and benefit from advanced cooling, including liquid metal and ROG's Tri-Fan system.
