DrivebuddyAI debuts a vision-first AI platform at CES 2026, showcasing ADAS/DMS with proven reductions in drowsiness.
DrivebuddyAI, an Ahmedabad-based innovator in AI-powered Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS), made a successful debut at CES 2026. The company presented its comprehensive AI mobility platform for the first time at the global technology event, drawing significant attention from attendees.
The platform targets four key segments of the mobility ecosystem: commercial fleets, automotive OEMs, insurance companies, and smart city planning. It attracted considerable visitor interest at drivebuddyAI's booth, leading to engaging discussions with industry professionals, positive feedback, and promising follow-up opportunities. The strong response confirmed the event as a major success for the company.
Validated on over 3.5 billion kilometres of real-world driving data from India and Europe, the platform has demonstrated proven results in fleet deployments worldwide. These include an 83% reduction in driver drowsiness, 86% improvement in Junction Risk Management compliance, and 72% reduction in overall fleet risk.
Insurance partners utilise features such as the Fleet Safety Index (predictive risk scoring) for usage-based insurance products, video-enabled first notification of loss, and improved loss/claim ratios.
The technology supports OEMs by reducing validation time and costs through pre-certified AI models trained on extensive real-world data. drivebuddyAI also plans to extend applications to mapping and smart cities, offering geo-tagged video, road condition monitoring, traffic behaviour analytics, network strength mapping, and black-spot identification for infrastructure planning.
The platform operates by collecting data from high dynamic range cameras and vehicle CAN bus, processing it in real time on edge systems running QNX/Linux. Patented AI models handle driver/occupant monitoring, forward collision warnings, lane departure alerts, blind spot detection, and moving-off information.
A federated learning architecture ensures data privacy while enabling continuous improvement, with updated models deployed over-the-air and insights shared via cloud APIs.
Nisarg Pandya, CEO and Founder of DrivebuddyAI, described the CES response as tremendous and highlighted the platform's impact, including over 70% accident reduction in large fleets.
