Ducati becomes the first bike maker to win MotoGP, World Superbike and World Supersport crowns in the same year.

In celebration of its recent dominance in motorcycle racing, Ducati has introduced five limited-edition replicas of its Panigale V4 and Panigale V2. The Italian motorcycle manufacturer recently concluded 2023 with championship victories in MotoGP, World Superbike, and World Supersport, making it the first brand to secure all three rider’s titles in the same year.

The event, held at the Bologna basketball arena under the banner of "Campioni in Festa," acknowledged Ducati's winning teams and riders. The highlight was the presentation of special-edition Ducati Panigale models, each representing the success of individual riders.

The five Ducati riders, including MotoGP world champion Francesco Bagnaia, World Superbike champion Álvaro Bautista, and World Supersport champion Nicolò Bulega, received unique Panigale V4 S and Panigale V2 models. These bikes featured the liveries of each one’s championship winning bike.

These will also be produced in limited numbers that correlate to the rider’s preferred racing number. So there will be 263 Bagnaia replicas, 219 Bautista replicas, 111 Bulega edition Panigale V2s, as well as 189 Jorge Martin and 72 Marco Bezzecchi Panigale V4s. Martin did give Bagnaia a good run for his money in the 2023 championship while Bezzecchi was one of the title contenders for a very long time.

The attention to detail is evident in the design, with each bike featuring the rider's signature on the tank, protected by a clear coat. The tank also boasts a billet-aluminium filler cap, and the top triple clamp is laser engraved with the version name and an individual number. A racing-style solo seat adorned with the rider's logo, a special matching ignition key, and a TFT dash with a dedicated animation upon startup complete the package.

The replicas faithfully replicate the liveries used by the riders during their standout performances. For instance, the Bagnaia World Champion Replica mirrors the yellow graphics of his factory Ducati Lenovo Team GP23 at the San Marino Republic GP at Misano. Similarly, the Bautista edition draws inspiration from the livery used on his bike at the Pirelli Emilia-Romagna round of the World Superbike Championship at Misano last June.

In terms of performance enhancements, the Panigale V4 models boast components from the Ducati Performance catalogue, including a STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, a 4.5-pound-lighter Akrapovič exhaust system, billet Rizoma footpegs, a racing-style windscreen, and carbon fibre covers and fenders. Standard features include Brembo Stylema R callipers, an MCS master cylinder, and Ducati’s GPS lap-timing module.

The Nicolò Bulega Panigale V2 World Supersport World Champion Replica stands out in the red and black Aruba.it Racing WorldSSP livery, featuring special components from Ducati’s accessory catalogue. A lighter Akrapovič exhaust system and lithium-ion battery contribute to an 11-pound weight reduction, accompanied by Rizoma footpegs and carbon fibre accessories.

Enthusiasts eager to own a piece of Ducati's racing history can start placing orders, with deliveries to dealerships scheduled to begin in July of 2024. The pricing for the US market is set at $43,000 (₹35 lakh) for the Panigale V2 Bulega 2023 World Champion Replica, $63,000 (₹ 53.4 lakh) for the Panigale V4 Bezzecchi 2023 Racing Replica, $68,000 (₹ 56.5 lakh) for the Panigale V4 Martín 2023 Racing Replica, $73,000 (₹ 60.7 lakh) for the Panigale V4 Bagnaia 2023 World Champion Replica, and $68,000 (₹ 56.5 lakh) for the Panigale Bautista 2023 World Champion Replica. We think that Ducati India will gauge the response and some eager Indian buyers might also get the chance to own one of these limited edition beauts. God, we envy them!
