Increased operational costs and overall inflation are the main culprits for this price hike.
Raising the aspiration ceiling higher for next year, Ducati India will hike the prices of its motorcycle line-up, effective from January 1st onwards. Not that the likes of the Panigale V4 or Multistrada V4s were not expensive enough, but rising operational costs coupled with overall inflation and increased commodity prices have forced Ducati India to revise the pricing structure.
Thankfully, not all red bikes will become expensive, and only a select few will have to face the brunt of this unfair economics. However, Ducati India has yet to specify the models that will be affected.
This announcement becomes all the more crucial when you factor in the fact that the Bologna-based manufacturer is slated to launch the new generation Panigale V4 and Panigale V2 in India. The brand is also scheduled to unveil three new models before 2024 ends for the global market – all of which we expect will eventually land on our shores.
Ducati should be revealing the revised prices soon enough but the appeal of the Italian exoticas will never be diminished. After all, the Italian firm has signed a certain eight-time World Champion to partner with the already three-time World Champion for the factory MotoGP team in 2025. And we know, champions don’t come cheap. Neither do Ducatis then.
