The highlight of the visit was the inauguration of a new patent wall.
During his official trip to India this week, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte visited the NXP Semiconductors campus in Manyata Tech Park, Bengaluru. The visit underscored the deepening Indo-Dutch relations and celebrated the innovation-driven collaboration between NXP India and the Netherlands.
Accompanying Prime Minister Rutte was Ms Marisa Gerards, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to India, Ms Ingrid Thijssen, President of the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers, and Mr Ewout De Wit, Consul-General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to South India.
The highlight of the visit was the inauguration of a new patent wall where NXP demonstrated a wide range of advanced products and solutions spanning various industries, including automotive, industrial, IoT, consumer electronics, and communication infrastructure.
The NXP showcase featured transformative technologies like smart vehicle connectivity, radar innovations, and secure connections for applications such as e-passports, NFC-based payment gateways, EMV solutions, and 5G Fixed Wireless Access.
The visit aimed to strengthen the semiconductor ecosystem in both nations, showcasing the importance of technology-driven cooperation in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.

This visit underscores our ongoing commitment to innovation, pushing the boundaries of technological advancement.
