Max Verstappen has helped develop a dynamic handling mode, which will provide the most precise F1 driving experience for gamers.

Electronic Arts (EA) has unveiled the trailer for the upcoming F1 24 game, set to launch on 31 May. The game boasts a redesigned career mode and a dynamic handling system developed in collaboration with reigning world champion Max Verstappen.

F1 24 promises to deliver an immersive experience for fans, with circuit enhancements, real driver audio from F1 broadcasts, and a new broadcaster presentation package. The inclusion of real driver audio marks a first for the series, allowing drivers to react to on-track incidents, adding a new layer of realism to the game.

The dynamic handling system, which utilises insights from Verstappen, a known e-sports enthusiast, is said to enhance the gameplay experience. The system offers precision controls that capture the feel of the car, resulting in the most realistic performance in F1 gaming history, whether using a wheel or a controller.

Collette Gangemi, Director of Licensing, Gaming at Formula 1, expressed her excitement for the upcoming release, stating, "Every year we want to enhance our fans gaming experience by working with EA SPORTS to deliver the best F1 racing game ever, and I am excited to see F1 24 release next month.

"With exciting new additions such as Dynamic Handling and the revamped Career mode, F1 24 has taken another step forward and offers our fans an immersive experience, truly bringing the speed, excitement and thrill of racing into their homes."

The game features enhanced versions of iconic venues such as Spa Francorchamps, Silverstone, and Lusail International Circuit, as well as newer tracks like the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.

One of the standout features of F1 24 is the overhauled career mode, which allows players to choose from legendary icons of the sport, up-and-coming competitors from F2, or their own created character as they compete for the world championship.

The multiplayer game mode, F1 World, returns for its second season, enabling players to use their favourite team and driver over the course of a podium pass campaign. Participants compete in a time-limited league, working towards collaborative goals while battling against rival teams.

Fans who pre-order the digital exclusive Champions Edition of F1 24 will gain early access starting on 28 May and receive immediate access to 2024 Alpine, Haas, McLaren, and Williams team liveries for use in time trial mode in F1 23. The Champions Edition also includes 18,000 pitcoin and special icons like James Hunt, whose story was chronicled in the Hollywood movie "Rush," and Juan Pablo Montoya, the former Indy 500 champion who duelled with Michael Schumacher in the 2000s.

F1 24 will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X and S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC via the EA App, Epic Games Store, and Steam on 31 May.
