Small tweaks for the bike to make it more wholesome
Alongside the larger Karizma XMR 250, Hero showed off its spruced up Karizma XMR 210 in Milan. There were not many changes to speak of on the sportbike and the launch is expected to take place next year.
For starters, the XMR 210 now arrives in a matte grey shade with contrasting yellow accents. No further changes to the design to report on the bike. You will get a brand new 5-inch colour TFT screen but we couldn’t exactly take note of the graphics as the keys were absent from the bike at the venue.
The most noticeable change on the bike happens to be the inclusion of a USD fork. This happens to be the same unit as the XMR 250 but with a few tweaks to suit the smaller Karizma. The resulting kerb weight of the bike has gone up by two kilos, the bike now tipping the scales at 165.5 kg.
The rest of the Karizma remains the same with its 210 cc liquid-cooled engine pushing out the same 25.3 bhp and 20.4 Nm. No changes to the ergonomics and features set too. This Karizma update is expected to increase the asking price by around ₹5000, raising the asking price to ₹ 1.85 lakh (ex-showroom India).
