Ultraviolette’s UV Crossfade carbon-fibre smart helmet comes with real-time connectivity.
Bengaluru-based electric mobility company Ultraviolette has launched its first carbon-fibre helmet, the UV Crossfade, at EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy. Priced at ₹19,900, the helmet is now available for sale in both Europe and India. The UV Crossfade meets DoT and ISI certifications and complies with the ECE 22.06 global safety standard for the European market.
The UV Crossfade helmet marks Ultraviolette’s entry into connected riding solutions. Developed in partnership with Cardo Systems, the helmet integrates real-time radar communication and advanced connectivity features. This collaboration is part of the first phase of Ultraviolette’s Connected Rider Ecosystem, which aims to enhance rider safety and connectivity.
The helmet features a carbon-fibre outer shell with fibreglass inner layers, resulting in a lightweight build of around 1,380 grams. It introduces a unique helmet-based integration with Ultraviolette motorcycles, enabling real-time connectivity between riders and their vehicles. The F77 MACH 2, F77 SuperStreet, and X-47 Crossover will be the first models to support this technology, with a phased rollout planned for the entire product range.
The UV Crossfade leverages Cardo’s mesh network to facilitate rider-to-rider and rider-to-vehicle communication. The helmet is equipped with Dynamic Alert Sequencing (D.A.S), a software suite that processes and allocates alerts in real time, allowing riders to respond promptly to notifications from their motorcycles, including those from the UV Hypersense radar system on the X-47.
At EICMA 2025, Ultraviolette also showcased its complete product portfolio for global markets, including the F77 MACH 2, F77 SuperStreet, F99, Tesseract, Shockwave, and X-47 Crossover.
