Euler Motors Launches NEO HiRange, with 261 km Range

New Delhi-based electric vehicle manufacturer Euler Motors launched its first commercial passenger vehicle, the Neo HiRange electric auto-rickshaw, priced at ₹3,09,999 (ex-showroom) on Monday. The three-wheeler electric auto comes in three variants with different range capabilities, however, Euler has yet to reveal the prices of the mid and high-spec variants. 

Technical Specifications

All three variants of the Neo HiRange are powered by a 9 kW peak power LV AC PMSM motor and feature lithium-ion batteries integrated into the chassis.

The Neo HiRange, which is the top variant, delivers an ARAI-certified range of 261 km and real-world range of over 200 km. It is equipped with a 13.44 kWh battery pack operating at 67 Vdc voltage and can reach top speeds of 45 kmph in Eco mode and 60 kmph in Thunder mode.

The mid-tier NEO HiRANGE PLUS offers an ARAI range of 204 km with a real-world range of over 170 km. This variant features an 11.56 kWh battery capacity at 58 Vdc voltage and maintains the same top speed capabilities of 45 km/hr in Eco mode and 60 km/hr in Thunder mode.

The base NEO HiRANGE variant provides an ARAI range of 171 km and real-world range of over 130 km. It comes with a 9.6 kWh battery capacity operating at 48 Vdc voltage, with top speeds of 43 km/hr in Eco mode and 54 km/hr in Thunder mode.

Charging and Performance Features

All variants take 3.25 hours to charge from 10% to 80% capacity. The vehicles feature a skateboard chassis design and deliver 65 Nm torque with hill-assist functionality for improved performance on inclines.

The auto-rickshaw includes in-house developed electronics for real-time diagnostics and comes with anti-theft GPS tracking. The company offers a warranty of up to 6 years or 1.75 lakh kilometers.

Market Rollout Plans

Euler Motors plans to launch the NEO brand vehicles across 50 cities in India over the next 3-4 months. The vehicles are designed for drivers who typically cover 120-200 km daily.
