Exclusive: Updated 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 Spotted With New Console

Bajaj is set to introduce an updated Dominar 400 featuring the same LCD-Dot matrix instrument cluster it debuted on the Pulsar NS400Z. This technological enhancement will feature smartphone connectivity as well, which in turn will unlock features like turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS alerts. This upgrade has led to the deletion of that small instrument console that was mounted on the fuel tank.

The 373.3 cc engine is expected to remain the same. However, Bajaj will update the mill to comply with the latest OBD-2B emission norms. That might alter the 39.42 bhp/35 Nm output a bit, but by how much will be confirmed once the bike launches. Bajaj is likely to introduce ride-by-wire throttle too with the 2025 Dominar 400 to bring forth different ride modes, just like it did with the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z. 

Despite minimal mechanical alterations over the years, the Dominar 400 has sustained its appeal through periodic colour variations and a notable dual-exhaust muffler upgrade implemented approximately five years ago was one of the biggest changes. While we can expect new colours to be introduced this year too, but will the muffler be changed or not remains to be seen. 

The impending update represents Bajaj's approach to keeping the Dominar 400 relatively appealing inthe middleweight motorcycle segment.
