First-Ever Mahindra Thar Roxx Auctioned for ₹1.31 Crore

Mahindra and Mahindra recently concluded the auction for the first-ever Thar Roxx and it has been sold for an eye-watering price of ₹1.31 crore! This is not the first time Mahindra has auctioned the Thar, as in 2020, it sold the first-ever 3-door version for ₹1.11 crore, which was bid by Delhi-based Aakash Minda. 

The Thar Roxx was put up for auction from September 15 - 16 and will have the VIN 0001 chassis number as well as Chairman, Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra’s, signature. The auctioned Thar Roxx is an AX7L diesel automatic 4x4 variant and the colour of the car will be left to the winner of the auction. Speaking of which, Mahindra is yet to announce who placed the winning bid on the Thar Roxx. The proceeds from the auction will be donated to one of the four non-profit organisations, as per the winner’s choice. 

Mahindra launched the Thar Roxx in India on August 15, 2024, and it has been a highly anticipated model from the Indian auto giant. The Roxx is more than just a longer version of the 3-door Thar and if you want to know more about it, head here or watch the video below.
