The Lexus LX and LM registered a 50 per cent year-on-year growth and contributed around 19 per cent to the brand’s overall sales in CY2025.

Lexus India concluded the 2025 calendar year on a high with strong demand for the LM and LX flagship models. The automaker announced both the Lexus LM and LX recorded a 50 per cent increase in demand year-on-year, contributing a healthy 19 per cent to overall sales in CY2025.

The Lexus RX was a major growth driver recording an 18 per cent growth in sales year-on-year, and a 22 per cent contribution to overall sales. Speaking about the sales performance, Hikaru Ikeuchi - President, Lexus India, said, “We are immensely thankful to our guests for their trust and support throughout 2025. The strong performance of our halo ultra-luxury models, LX and LM, reflects their confidence in Lexus and our dedication to delivering exceptional products and experiences that continue to push boundaries. As we move into 2026, we are encouraged by the outlook for luxury vehicles in India and will remain focused on delivering even more exciting offerings and memorable experiences.”

The Lexus LM 350h sits at the top of luxury panel vans sold in the country, which has caught the attention of high net-worth individuals with its spacious and luxurious interiors, and a distinctive design. It does not have a direct rival in the segment, giving the model absolute dominance.

On the other hand, the Lexus LX 500d SUV is the brand’s flagship offering and remains a capable off-road SUV, exuding power, presence, and stature in a compelling package. Notably, the LX is the only diesel offering in Lexus India’s lineup, which is otherwise powered by petrol-hybrid engines. The LX takes on the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen, Land Rover Range Rover, Audi RS Q8, and more.
