Genesys claims to be the first company in India to fuse 2D, 3D, and DIGIPIN under the DHRUVA framework for DPI-ready address infrastructure.
Genesys International Corporation Ltd has announced the integration of DIGIPIN, India’s standardised digital address layer, into its nationwide 2D and 3D mapping platforms.
The Genesys platform is now claimed to cover over 400 million building footprints, 8.3 million km of road networks, and more than 19,000 PIN-code zones. It collaborates with ministries, smart cities, urban local bodies, and digital service providers.
Developed in line with the Department of Posts’ DHRUVA (Digital Hub for Reference & Unique Virtual Address) framework, the system enables real-time address generation, lookup, and visual verification, transforming static location data into an interoperable address ecosystem.
With DIGIPIN now operational on its national 2D maps, and 3D Digital Twin pilots underway in major cities, Genesys is confident that it’s enhancing the address intelligence layer of India’s DPI. This complements existing digital infrastructure such as Aadhaar for identity and UPI for payments.
The integration of DIGIPIN into 3D Digital Twins allows immersive spatial models of cities, linking address data to infrastructure, planning, and emergency response systems, thus providing deeper insights than traditional 2D mapping.
At the core of this initiative is Genesys’ AI-driven 3D Digital Twin platform, which connects stakeholders to verified address data. The platform is designed for large-scale interoperability, offering role-based access for governance entities, agents, and users.
It supports digital address creation, validation, consent-based data sharing, and integration with legacy systems, all within the DIGIPIN/DHRUVA ecosystem.
Additional features include visual validation tools, geofencing, and suffix-based digital address IDs, which, as per the company, are designed to make addresses easier to use and integrate across government and consumer platforms.
