Gensol Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. (GEVPL), a subsidiary of Gensol Engineering Limited, has given a sneak peek into its first-ever electric vehicle (EV) in a new video teaser showcasing its exterior and interior design. The upcoming Gensol EV will be a 2-door, 2-seater electric car aimed to tackle urban congestion and pollution. The new EV is scheduled for its debut in March 2024.
Anmol Singh Jaggi, Managing Director, Gensol Engineering Ltd. said, “With great pride, we unveil the first glimpse of our new modern car, contributing significantly to the larger mission of decarbonizing the planet. Designed to address the challenges of daily city commuting, our made-in-India all-electric car is poised to revolutionize zero-emission mobility.”
The EV boasts an electric range of over 200 km and a top speed of 80 kmph, making it an ideal choice for city commuting. The features include a moonroof, a large boot space, in-cabin driver assistance technology, a fully equipped technology stack, and AI-based cloud analytics. The upcoming EV will be manufactured at the company’s plant in Chakan, Pune.
