Faster charging made available to public EV charging infrastructure in the city
A new collaboration between GLIDA which is a leading EV charging solutions provider and DLF Cyberpark is making charging faster and more accessible. GLIDA has installed a powerful 200KW Kempower charger equipped with six charging points at the business park. This significantly benefits by providing the availability of public EV charging infrastructure in the city.
This marks a major milestone for GLIDA, formerly known as Fortum Charge & Drive India. It has partnered with Kempower which is a renowned Finnish manufacturer of DC fast chargers. This move strengthens its existing partnership with DLF, bringing the total number of charging points in DLF's Cyber City to 20.
GLIDA plans to commission more superfast charging stations across the country. This cutting-edge technology will significantly improve the charging experience for EV users, making electric vehicles a more practical and attractive choice.
The Kempower chargers offer a dynamic and efficient charging experience. This allows for faster charging and top-ups, leading to a hassle-free driving experience. These high-powered stations benefit not only passenger cars but also electric commercial vehicles like buses and trucks. This should significantly reduce charging times and accelerate the adoption of electric mobility solutions.
GLIDA was the first to introduce remote charging technology and install the country's first 50kW Fast CCS charger. Its dedication to innovation and collaboration with global leaders like Kempower positions it at the forefront of building a robust and efficient public EV charging network in India. This development is a positive step towards a greener future for Gurugram and India as a whole. By making EV ownership more convenient and practical it makes way for wider adoption of electric vehicles and a reduction in dependence on fossil fuels.
