Hero MotoCorp further plans to expand its presence in the island nation with over 500 touch points across the country.
Hero MotoCorp has announced a major expansion into the Sri Lankan market with the introduction of four new models. The company is working with local partner Abans Auto to strengthen its presence on the island with an expanded retail and service network.
The newly launched lineup includes the Hero Xoom 110 scooter and three motorcycles: the Hunk 160R 4V (which is the Xtreme 160R 4V in India), Xtreme 125R, and HF Deluxe. The Xoom 110 and HF Deluxe are already available at Abans Auto dealerships, while pre-bookings for the Hunk 160R 4V and Xtreme 125R will begin soon. This product mix aims to attract both everyday commuters and performance-oriented riders.

The brand’s sporty scooter Xoom 110 scooter is priced at LKR 6,99,900 (i.e ₹1,99,399), while the entry-level commuter bike HF Deluxe comes in at LKR 5,77,900 (i.e ₹1,64,641). For those seeking more performance, the Hunk 160R 4V is available at LKR 9,09,900 (i.e ₹2,59,227) and includes safety features such as ABS. Targeting younger riders, the Xtreme 125R costs LKR 7,76,900 ( i.e ₹2,21,336) and offers modern design elements including LED lighting and Bluetooth connectivity. All four of these products have retained the same spec and configuration as its India counterpart.
To support this product launch, Hero MotoCorp is rapidly expanding its service infrastructure. The company plans to establish 500 touch points across Sri Lanka by May 2025, ensuring customers have easy access to after sales support and genuine spare parts.
This Sri Lankan expansion is part of Hero's wider international growth strategy, which focuses on increasing global market share while adapting products to meet local requirements. The introduction of the Xoom 110 as the first 110cc scooter in Sri Lanka demonstrates the company's approach to identifying and filling gaps in local markets.
