Hero MotoCorp will commence its European campaign with the all-electric Vida Z that was unveiled last year at the 2024 EICMA.
Hero MotoCorp confirmed yesterday at its annual report meeting that it will start operations in the UK and a few European countries from September onwards. The brand will expand into these new foreign shores with its all-electric sub-brand Vida, and the Vida Z, which debuted last year at the 2024 EICMA, is most likely to spearhead this business expansion. The Vida Z is expected to be followed by high-capacity premium ICE bikes like the Hero Xtreme 250R or the yet-to-launch Karizma XMR 250 and the Hero XPulse 421.
In Europe, Hero MotoCorp will launch operations in Germany, France, and Spain, reported PTI. In FY 25, Hero MotoCorp saw its business in international markets grow by 43%. This expansion comes after the brand has aptly established itself solidly in South Asia and Latin America.
Currently, Hero MotoCorp is present in 48 countries, wherein exports account for 5.7% of its ₹40,756 crore revenue in FY 24. The brand already has a technology centre in Germany, and it has also appointed Pelpi International S.r.l as its distribution partner in Italy. In addition to that, it also has commercial agreements with partners in Spain, and France.
