This price slash makes the Vida V2 range more affordable, especially against key rivals, the Bajaj Chetak and TVS iQube.
In order to make its Vida V2 range more accessible to the masses, Hero MotoCorp has slashed the prices of the electric scooter range by up to ₹32,000. The Vida V2 range is available in three trim levels – V2 Lite, Plus, and Pro. While the entry-level Lite variant has become affordable by ₹22,000, wherein prices have been slashed from ₹96,000 to ₹74,000. The mid-spec Vida Plus is now priced at ₹82,800, which is ₹32,000 more affordable than when it was launched at ₹1,15,000. The top-spec Vida V2 Pro received the lowest price cut, and at ₹1,20,300, it is now ₹14,700 more affordable than its launch price. All prices mentioned are ex-showroom.
The Vida V2 range was launched last year as a more affordable alternative to the Vida V1 range. However, if you visit the Vida website now the latter is not listed anymore, thus signaling that the Vida V1 range has been replaced altogether.

The Vida V2 range is available with three battery packs. A 2.2 kWh battery pack powers the base-spec V2 Lite, the V2 Pro gets a 3.4 kWh battery, while the top-spec V2 Pro has a 3.9 kWh battery pack. The top-spec V2 Pro is also the quickest of the lot wherein it sprints from 0-60 kmph in 2.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 90 kmph. With bigger battery comes more range and the V2 Pro is good for a IDC-certified range of 165 km, the V2 Lite can do 94 km, and the V2 Plus can travel up to 143 km.
The Vida V2 range is the only option in the competition with removable batteries. Therefore, you get the convenience of charging the batteries at home only. Both the Bajaj Chetak and TVS iQube get fixed batteries. Despite this limitation, Bajaj Auto has been consistently spearheading the electric scooter race in the country in 2025, followed by TVS Motor Company and Ola Electric in third. Hero MotoCorp-backed Ather Energy has also been more successful in this regard too, ranking at fourth.
The latest price cut should make the Vida V2 range a more compelling option than before. coupled with the EV push that the country is garnering, Hero should also expect an uptick in sales as well.
