It looks very much like the Vida Z that made its maiden appearance at EICMA 2024.
Few days after Hero MotoCorp confirmed that it will launch a brand new electric scooter, called the Vida VX2, on July 1, the same has now been spotted at a dealership without any camouflage. This is essentially the Vida Z concept rebadged as the Vida VX2.
Hero had first showcased the Vida Z at EICMA 2024, followed by the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The showroom pictures show the VX2 finished in a matt yellow colour scheme with 'VX2 Plus' badging on the side panel. The scooter maintains the same design and styling as the previously showcased Vida Z, including identical shape, silhouette, and LED tail-light configuration. The Plus badging suggests it would bear a bigger battery pack and more features.

Other key features that were visible in the images include 12-inch wheels similar to the V2 series, a digital dashboard operated by a joystick on the left side, an emergency SOS switch, and a small front storage compartment. Unlike the keyless system found on the V2 model, the VX2 will use a conventional key with a visible key slot.
The VX2 is expected to come with removable batteries just like the V2 series. It might also be available with the choice of three variants, named similarly like the V2 range for Lite, Plus, and Pro trims. With the base spec trim featuring a single 2.2 kWh battery pack and the top variant equipped with dual battery setup totalling 3.4 kWh capacity.
Pricing is expected to undercut the current V2 series, which ranges from ₹74,000 to ₹1.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The VX2 will compete directly with established players which include the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta, and Ola S1 series.
