Honda CB350 now comes with a choice of distinctive accessories, from an aesthetic Solo Carrier to practical Fog Lamps.
Honda has introduced the new CB350 in India, retaining the H’ness CB350's engine and components while giving it a more retro visual identity. The motorcycle now comes with seven official accessories for riders to enhance visual appeal, safety, and functionality. Options include a tall windscreen, rear carrier, pillion backrest, solo carrier, knuckle guards, chrome-finished or blacked-out leg guards, and fog lamps. These accessories cater to functional versatility, secure transportation for long rides, and improved passenger comfort with the optional backrest. Take a look at each in detail.
Honda provides an Engine guard for the CB350 in black and chrome colours. These provide protection for the engine and also double up as mounting points for the Fog Lamp. The chrome finish aligns with the bike's retro vibe. There is also an option of a lower engine guard. This lower guard is much more effective in acting like a leg guard in case of a drop.
This eliminates the rear seat, substituting it with a luggage mounting rack. While this enhances the aesthetic appeal, transforming it into a sleek single-seater bike.. Finished in matte black, it complements the overall look of the dark tan seat.
A backrest is available for the pillion rider, offering added assurance during long rides. It complements the dark tan colour of the seat and adds to its appeal by making it look like a cruiser.
Honda provides fog lamps mounted on the engine guards. If you feel the throw of the standard LED light isn’t bright enough then the fog lamps are a useful accessory.
Honda provides knuckle guards with two mounting points. It remains unclear whether these guards incorporate a metal brace within the plastic housing. In our opinion, this feature may not align well with the bike's aesthetic. Moreover, the quality of the knuckle guard becomes crucial if purchased for genuine protection.
Honda includes a long, clear visor in its accessory package for long-distance travellers. While the extent of its effectiveness in reducing buffeting and wind blast remains uncertain, its aesthetic appeal aligns well with the retro charm of the CB350. The visor appears to be a beneficial addition, enhancing the motorcycle's overall look without compromising its retro styling.
The option of a rear carrier is also available with the two-seat variant. This addition includes a backrest and offers space for luggage, allowing riders to secure items with the help of bungee cords.
It seems that the skid plate Honda offers is made of metal with a brushed aluminium finish. It might look a bit off when paired with the chrome on the motorcycles, but the brushed finish will make cleaning easy and also keep it looking cleaner for a longer time.
These handlebar weights replace the stock black ones with a brushed aluminium finish. This seems like a modification for someone who desires an extra touch of bling on their vehicle.
Rubber footpegs with a wider space for the foot are a comfort-based accessory. If you are aiming for a relaxed cruiser look with a backrest, we believe this accessory might complement the aesthetic you are seeking.
A basic tank pad with the CB branding is quite a functional offering. You will surely keep the bike tank free from some scratches of the belt buckle. This seems like an addition that you look forward to installing.
The company has introduced two customisations: Solo Carrier Custom and Comfort Custom. These configurations are a blend of the seven accessories, each tailored for a specific purpose as indicated by their names. The Solo Carrier Custom features a rugged appearance with elements like fog lamps, a leg guard, a single seat, long visor, and the solo carrier. On the other hand, the Comfort Custom takes a distinct approach with a backrest, rear carrier, long visor, leg guard, and fog lamps for a more comfortable and functional design.
