The Elevate CVT variants have seen the highest demand.

Honda Cars India has announced that it has sold 20,000 units of the Elevate SUV since it was launched on September 4, 2023. The Japanese carmaker said this sales milestone was achieved in just 100 days since it reentered the SUV segment in India.

The Elevate accounted for over half of Honda’s total sales in the last three months and has helped the company’s sales grow by 11 per cent between September and November 2023, compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, Honda says the CVT variants have seen the most demand.

Yuichi Murata, Director of Marketing and Sales, Honda Cars India, said, “We are thrilled to witness the remarkable success of the Honda Elevate, which has surpassed our expectations. Furthermore, we have maximised the production of the Elevate to serve our waiting customers as early as possible and adjusted the variant mix to align with the market demand which is overwhelmingly high for CVT variants currently.”

Honda launched the Elevate in India at an introductory price of ₹11 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the base-spec SV manual variant. Prices go all the way up to ₹16 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the top-spec ZX CVT variant. It is available with a 1.5-litre petrol engine developing 119 bhp and 145 Nm of torque, and comes paired to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-step CVT.
