This is the most expensive Honda scooter ever to go on sale in India.

After Honda introduced the Rebel 500, it has now launched the X-ADV, its meanest, and most expensive scooter yet in India. Priced at a whopping ₹11.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Gurgaon), the new Honda X-ADV will cost you more than a Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE or a Honda Transalp, for example, and these bikes are not even its direct competitors. In fact, the Honda X-ADV is the only scooter of its kind in the country, and that should give you some cool bragging rights.

The biggest talking point with the X-ADV is its design. Its tall, rugged and aggressive stance is aptly complimented by those sleek LED headlights at the front, and that chunky tail light. It is built around a strong tubular steel frame suspended by 41 mm USD fork at the front, and a preload adjustable rear monoshock. Further enhancing its ADV-ish tag are the 17-/15-inch wire-spoke tubeless wheels with big 296 mm/240 mm disc brakes front and rear. Despite its athletic body design, Honda still offers just 22-litre of underseat storage space with a nifty USB C-type charging port.

The biggest talking point with the X-ADV is its design.

Powering the X-ADV is Honda’s 745 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine good for 57.79 bhp and 69 Nm. As is the case with most premium bikes, even the X-ADV gets ride-by-wire throttle which further gets you four distinct ride modes –Standard, Sport, Rain, and Gravel. There’s also a customisable User mode in the offing which allows you to control various performance parameters of the bike. Feature-wise, Honda has not skipped a beat here so cruise control and traction control (Honda Selectable Torque Control) are also available here as standard.

The controls for all can be toggled via a 5-inch TFT display which supports Honda’s RoadSync app. With the latter, you further get turn-by-turn navigation, call/SMS alert, music and voice control as well.

From traction control to cruise control, an even four ride modes, Honda has not skipped a beat here in terms of equipping the X-ADV with premium features.

Unlike the Honda Rebel 500, which will be retailed in just a select few metropolitan cities, the new Honda X-ADV will be available across all BigWing dealerships in India. Bookings for the same have already commenced, and deliveries will start in June.
