Hyundai India Sales Rise 9.5% In January 2026, Venue & Aura Achieve Highest-Ever Monthly Sales

Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL) has reported its sales for January 2026, and the automaker registered its highest-ever monthly cumulative (domestic + exports) sales. The company sold 73,137 units last month, registering an 11.5 per cent increase in sales compared to January 2025. Hyundai also registered its highest-ever domestic sales, which stood at 59,107 units, growing by 9.5 per cent year-on-year over 54,003 units sold in January 2025. Exports grew by 20.9 per cent annually in January 2026 with 14,030 units shipped overseas, against 11,600 units sold during the same period last year.

Hyundai further revealed popular models including the Venue and Aura achieved highest-ever monthly sales in January 2026. The Hyundai Venue subcompact SUV clocked 12,413 units last month, while the Hyundai Aura subcompact sedan’s monthly sales stood at 7,978 units. Both models were driving Hyundai’s domestic growth, the company said.
