This new programme celebrates the success that Hyundai witnessed with the Ioniq 5.
Hyundai has launched Hyundai Soirée, an engagement programme that will exclusively cater to its Ioniq 5 customers. The Indian arm of the South Korean brand has introduced this not just to celebrate the “remarkable success” of its flagship EV model – the Ioniq 5 – but also to foster a community of like-minded people who will “share the passion for innovation, style and excellence” stated the brand’s press release.
The premiere Hyundai Soirée event that took place on May 10 in Mumbai gave us a glimpse of what to expect from the marque. For starters, it entailed a fashion show, followed by a meet and greet with celebrated fashion designers Falguni and Shane Peacock and Hyundai’s senior management. It ended with a curated dinner by renowned chef Vicky Ratnani. Hyundai is also slated to host four more such Soirée events across key cities, including Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai.

Speaking on the occasion of this new programme, Virat Khullar, AVP & Vertical Head, Hyundai Motor India Limited, said, “It reflects our dedication to fostering a community of individuals who share a vision of sophistication and aspiration, leading the charge towards a sustainable future. Through Hyundai Soirée, we endeavour to connect deeply with our customers, enriching their ownership journey.”
What was initially brought in limited numbers, Hyundai experienced quite the success when it sold off all 1500 units of the Ioniq 5 when it launched in 2023. Guided by its philosophy of ‘Progress for Humanity”, Hyundai further reaffirmed that it will develop a holistic EV infrastructure in the country. The OEM already has the country's largest ultra-fast EV charging network, and by 2030, it aims to expand this network to 480 stations.
Coupled with the fact that Hyundai is also slated to launch five new EVs by 2030, and in 2025 it will launch its first mass EV — this newly launched loyalty program is expected further to refine its customer engagement and service in the future.
