Hyundai Motor India Limited has expanded the lineup of its all-new Venue compact SUV by adding the HX5+ variant, providing more choices to customers in the competitive segment.
The HX5+ variant is equipped with the Kappa 1.2-litre petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox and carries an ex-showroom price of ₹9.99 lakh.
Key additions in this variant include roof rails, quad beam LED headlamps, rear window sunshade, wireless smartphone charger, driver console armrest with storage, rear wiper and washer, along with driver power window featuring auto up-down function and safety provisions.
Tarun Garg, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Hyundai Motor India Limited, mentioned that the all-new Venue has recorded over 50,000 bookings since its introduction. He added that the HX5+ variant incorporates several comfort and convenience elements that match current customer preferences in the market.
The second-gen Venue was introduced in November 2025 and is available with three powertrain choices. The Kappa 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol unit delivers 82 bhp output and is offered solely with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Kappa 1.0-litre Turbo GDi petrol engine produces 118 bhp and can be had with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. The U2 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine offers 114 bhp and comes with options of 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.
Additional features across the range include traction control modes suitable for sand, mud, and snow terrains, drive mode selections comprising eco, normal, and sport, as well as paddle shifters on certain higher variants.
In a related update, the HX4 variant has been enhanced with the inclusion of driver seat height adjustment for improved ergonomics.
The Hyundai Venue competes with Kia Sonet, Skoda Kylaq, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV3XO, and Kia Syros in India.
