The team's youngest Kavin Quintal scored some crucial points for the team with a 13th position finish.

IDEMITSU Honda Racing India has started the 27th edition of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) on a strong note with its youngest rider Kavin Quintal crossing the finishing line in 13th position after starting the race in 19th position.

In the 10-lap race, Quintal displayed consistent performance and was steadily climbing up the position. A few crashes during the race catapulted him to move up the order and take the chequered flag at 13th position which helped the team score 3 points. “Despite the track challenges, I stayed calm and consistent, which helped me finish in the top 15 and contribute points to the team’s kitty,” concluded Quintal after the race.

Quintal’s teammate Mohsin P started round 2 from the 21st position, however, despite putting up a tough fight, he finished the race in the 16th position. Which unfortunately did not fetch any points for the team. Speaking about his strategy during the race, Mohsin said, “My goal was to stay steady and climb up the ranks without any errors on the track. I competed fiercely with international riders and finished the race in 16th place.”
