iQOO Unveils Flagship iQOO 12 Series with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in China

iQOO, a sub-brand of Vivo, has launched its latest flagship iQOO 12 series smartphones - the iQOO 12 Pro and iQOO 12 in China. The new phones feature premium design and specifications with an aim to provide a top-notch gaming and photography experience.

iQOO 12 & iQOO 12 Pro Specifications

The iQOO 12 Pro features a sleek and tapered design with curved glass panels on the front and back. It comes in three distinct colour options - BMW Motorsport-inspired white colour, black colour with a shimmery AG glass texture, and red colour with a vegan leather back.

The iQOO 12 series sport 6.78-inch AMOLED displays with 144Hz refresh rates and HDR10+ support. The iQOO 12 Pro's display has a higher 1440p (2k) resolution.

Both phones have a triple camera setup comprising a 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and 64MP periscope telephoto with 3x optical and 100x digital zoom. The phones also have 16MP selfie cameras.

Under the hood, the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip powers both devices, making them amongst the first phones to use Qualcomm's newest flagship processor, and is paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.

The iQOO 12 Pro packs a 5,100mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The iQOO 12 is available in 4880mAh and 5,000mAh battery capacities with 120W wired charging only.

Pricing and Availability

The iQOO 12 Pro starts at CNY 4,999 (approx. ₹57,000) for the 16GB/256GB model, going up to CNY 5,999 (₹68,000) for the 16GB/1TB variant. The iQOO 12 is priced from CNY 3,999 (₹45,000) for the 12GB/256GB version to CNY 4,699 (₹53,000) for the 16GB/1TB model.

The iQOO 12 series is all set to launch on December 12 in India and is being touted as the first Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 phone to launch in India.
