Aside from the transparent body, the Primo e-scooter will also be available with different colour options as well.
Nashik-based EV manufacturer Jitendra EV has launched its first electric scooter in India called Primo at ₹79,999. A unique aspect of the Jitendra Primol is that it is the country’s first e-scooter with a transparent body. However, for non-conventional people who don’t want to grab much attention while riding this e-scooter, the Primo is also available in four colours - black, silver, red, and white.
The Primo e-scooter is powered by a 60V, 26Ah battery that is good for 65 km of range on a single charge, claims Jitendra EV. Its top speed is limited to 52 kmph, thereby the Primo is primarily a city scooter ideal for short trips in the concrete jungle.
Some of the notable features available with this e-scooter include boost riding modes, a digital instrument cluster, LED lights, a USB charging port, a side-stand indicator, a thermal propagation alert, and reverse mode. Braking duties are taken care of disc brake and drum brake set-up and the e-scooter rides on 90/90 10-inch tubeless tyres.
Jitendra EV is also offering the Primo with a three-year vehicle warranty, and the e-scooter is available in just one variant. However, the manufacturer also confirmed that there will be two more variants in the future - Primo S and Primo Plus. The former has a claimed 90 km of range, and the latter will be good for 130 km of range on a single charge. Along with that, both these scooters will also be available with multiple ride modes, and a diverse range of options - the specifics of which have not been revealed as of yet.
