JK Tyre Launches High-Performance Premium Car Tyres

The Levitas Ultra range will be offered in seven sizes, ranging from 225/55 R16 to 245/45 R18 for premium cars.

Indian tyre major JK Tyre & Industries launched a premium tyre brand, ‘Levitas Ultra’ and with it has expanded its presence in the luxury car segment. The new tyres were unveiled by Dr. Raghupati Singhania, Chairman & Managing Director, JK Tyre & Industries in Delhi, ahead of its market availability April 1, 2023 onwards. With the new range of tyres, JK Tyre aims to target close to 50 per cent of the market share in the luxury car segment. The Levitas Ultra range will be offered in seven sizes, ranging from 225/55 R16 to 245/45 R18 for premium cars.

According to JK Tyre, the new range of tyres have been tested extensively in Europe and India to offer high levels of comfort, and durability and low NVH levels. In the coming months, JK Tyre will expand this range and offer even chunkier set of tyres ranging between 19 to 22-inches. Once launched, the entire range will cater to different set of premium vehicles in India offering a variety of attributes such as shortest braking distances in dry and wet conditions, best in class ride quality, grip, and even greater control over corners.

The new range of premium tyres were developed with adaptive contour and a special noise cancelling pattern formulated with high-grade MFX Polymer, which ensures durability for Indian roads and stability during hard cornering. The super optimized Tread Pitch sequence provides a smooth commute at a range of speeds, even in wet conditions, while the layers with considerable thickness offer resistance to perforations.
