Kabira Mobility will launch the KM5000 later this year, with deliveries starting early next year.
Goa-based Kabira Mobility unveiled its flagship electric motorcycle, the KM5000, at a starting price of Rs. 3.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Goa). The KM5000 electric motorcycle claims to be India’s fastest and longest-riding electric bike, packed with features and industry-leading specifications. The company will launch the KM5000 later this year, with deliveries starting early next year. Upon launch, the KM5000 will rival the Ultraviolette F77 in the country.
Jaibir Siwach, CEO, Kabira Mobility said, “The KM5000 is the greatest masterpiece of our creation. At Kabira Mobility, we are constantly raising the bar of what we can expect from the electric bike segment. The KM5000 is a testament to our belief that electric bikes are now on par, if not even better, than their ICE counterparts in terms of performance and safety.”
Equipped with an 11.6 kWh water-cooled LFP battery pack, the KM5000 electric motorcycle offers 344 km of range on a single charge and comes with two types of charging options: a fast charger that juices up from 0 to 80 per cent in less than 2 hours and a standard charger for overnight charging. The KM5000 has a top speed of 188 kmph. The company will reveal more details regarding to its total power output closer to the launch.
The KM5000 electric motorcycle is equipped with twin front and single rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS. The e-bike is also fitted with Nitrox rear suspensions and inverted front forks by Showa. Additionally, the KM5000 also has other features such as a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), a side step, a saree guard, fast charging, park assist, fall sensors, and elevation stabiliser, among others.
It is equipped with projector headlamps for improved visibility while riding and features front and rear LED headlamps and indicators with DRLs. Moreover, the KM5000 also comes equipped with a 7-inch smart touchscreen digital dashboard with 4G connectivity. The dashboard also offers turn-by-turn navigation and music control, and in-depth vehicle information and riding habits to the rider. The dashboard also displays battery health and information and has smart diagnostics features.
