The 2024 Versys 650 remains mechanically unchanged but gets two new paint schemes in India.
Kawasaki India has unveiled the 2024 Versys 650, offering a cosmetic update to their mid-range adventure tourer. While the core features and specifications remain unchanged, the new model year brings a splash of colour with two new paint schemes.

The 2024 Versys 650 retains the sharp and aggressive design language seen in the previous models. The signature split LED headlight continues to dominate the front fascia, complemented by a transparent visor for wind protection. The new paint options, Metallic Flat Spark Black and Metallic Matte Dark Gray, offer a dual-tone aesthetic with contrasting black and either red or green as the primary colour. A white accent line adds a touch of flair to the side panels and headlight cowl.

The Versys 650 has a feature set well-suited for adventure touring. The rider gets a fully digital TFT display with smartphone connectivity, allowing for seamless integration with navigation and other mobile applications. A USB charging port ensures your devices stay powered on the go. Safety features include switchable traction control and ABS for added confidence in varying conditions.

At the heart of the Versys 650 lies a proven 649 cc, parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine. This dependable power plant churns out 65.7 bhp and 61 Nm. A 6-speed gearbox handles transmission duties with a slipper clutch.
The Versys 650 utilises a steel tube frame. The suspension setup comprises a USD fork at the front with preload and rebound adjustability, allowing riders to tailor the handling to their preference and riding conditions.

The 2024 Versys 650 rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels with 120/70 section rubber at the front and 160/60 at the rear. Braking performance comes with dual 300 mm discs up front and a single 250mm disc at the rear with ABS for safety.
The 2024 Kawasaki Versys 650 carries a price tag of ₹7.77 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), maintaining the same price point as the previous model. In the Indian market, the Versys 650 faces competition from the likes of the Moto Morini X-Cape 650 which is priced at ₹7.20 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
