Kia to Announce Future EV Vision On October 12

Kia has announced its EV Day will take place in Yeoju, Korea on October 12 and the company will showcase a host of new electric models, concepts, and technologies which will showcase its prowess in the EV space.

The company will display its entire EV lineup, including the Kia EV5, EV6 GT and EV9. Detailed specifications of the EV5 will also be provided by the company. Beside this, the company will also showcase its expanded EV line-up which will showcase three new small- to medium-sized electric models.

The teaser image released by Kia has some familiar cars such as the EV6 GT (first one from the left), EV5 (centre) and the EV9 (first one from the right). However, the remaining two vehicles are not that easy to identify. One possibility could be the EV3 crossover, but the other one is a different size altogether.

We wait to see what the company’s plans are for the EV space in the coming years.
