Kinetic Watts and Volts, the electric mobility division of the legendary Kinetic Group, on Thursday inaugurated its inaugural dealership in India. The new 3S (Sales, Service, and Spares) outlet is situated in Vishrantwadi, in Pune.
Supporting the retail facility is the 'Kinetic Lab' service centre located in Dhanori, intended to deliver comprehensive after-sales assistance and maintain reliable service quality. Kinetic has outlined plans to broaden its nationwide retail network, with additional dealership openings scheduled across prominent Indian metropolitan areas in upcoming months.
The dealership spans 1,400 square feet at Tingre Nagar and provides integrated sales, service, and spare parts facilities. Managed by dealer principal Ravindra Sharad Bhelke, the outlet is supported by Kinetic Lab -- a purpose-built 1,050 square foot after-sales service facility situated in Dhanori.
"This launch represents not just a retail milestone, but the beginning of a new chapter in accessible, aspirational, and sustainable electric mobility for India. Pune has always been special to us -- it’s where our legacy began and now where our EV journey takes shape," Ajinkya Firodia, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Kinetic Watts and Volts, said in a statement.
The dealership will display Kinetic's existing electric scooter portfolio, comprising the Kinetic DX and Kinetic ZX variants. Both models are powered by a 2.6 kWh Range-X LFP battery pack and come equipped with regenerative braking technology, reverse assist capability, and hill-hold function. The ZX variant offers enhanced smart connectivity options via the Telekinetic mobile application.
The Kinetic DX carries an ex-showroom Pune price tag of ₹1,11,499, while the Kinetic ZX is available at ₹1,17,499. Customers can choose from five colour variants for the ZX model, whereas the DX offers two colour choices.
The manufacturer intends to broaden its dealership network across several Indian cities over the next few months. Kinetic Watts & Volts was incorporated in September 2022 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kinetic Engineering Limited, which has maintained its listing on the Bombay Stock Exchange since the parent company's establishment more than five decades ago.
The Kinetic Group established its market presence through iconic products such as the Kinetic Luna and the original Kinetic DX scooter, which became synonymous with urban commuting in India.
