Automobili Lamborghini has announced a good operating and financial performance in the first half of 2025, registering revenues of €1.62 billion (approx. ₹14,823 crore), a few notches lower than in the first half of 2024, while operating profit was down marginally at €431 million (approx. ₹3,943 crore) due to adverse exchange rate variations in the second quarter.

Yet, the brand set a new record in deliveries of vehicles, achieving its all-time best-ever H1 sales with 5,681 units delivered globally, up by 2 per cent over the same period last year. Despite the macroeconomic tailwinds, Lamborghini maintained a robust profitability margin of 26.6 per cent, consolidating its status as one of the most financially solid luxury performance brands.

In India, Lamborghini continues to post double-digit growth, with over 100 units sold in 2024, carrying its 2023 momentum forward. Although the company itself did not release its India numbers, we know the company's order books are full until 2027. However, India is among Lamborghini's Asia-Pacific quickest-growing markets, driven by a rising ultra-high-net-worth population and increasingly better appetites for exotic performance cars, including the newly introduced Lamborghini Temerario.
Much of Lamborghini’s global delivery performance is attributed to the success of its two key hybrid models: the Revuelto and the Urus SE. The Revuelto, the company’s first High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV), features a 1001 bhp hybrid powertrain combining a next-generation V12 engine with three electric motors and a dual-clutch transmission, a first for Lamborghini’s twelve-cylinder models.

The Urus SE, a plug-in hybrid version of the best-selling Super SUV, brought in a broader customer base by combining an 789 bhp hybrid setup with improved ride comfort, lower emissions, and enhanced usability. The Urus SE builds on the success of the Urus S and is positioned to extend the lifecycle of Lamborghini’s most popular model while aligning with global regulatory shifts toward electrification.
