Its closest rivals in price include the Mercedes-Benz GLS, BMW X7, Audi Q7, and Volvo XC90. Its closest rivals in capability are the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and Mercedes-Benz G-Class.

Land Rover has introduced the Defender 110 Trophy Edition in India, priced at ₹1.30 crore (ex-showroom). The special edition model pays homage to the previous-generation Defender and the vehicles that competed in the Camel Trophy off-road competition.

The Trophy Edition is offered in two exterior colors: Deep Sandglow Yellow and Keswick Green. The yellow shade is inspired by the Defenders that participated in the Camel Trophy, which Land Rover supported for 20 years.

The vehicle features 20-inch black alloy wheels with all-terrain tyres and extensive black detailing on the bonnet, roof, ladder, roof rack, upper body, wheel arches, and snorkel. Trophy branding appears on the bonnet, C-pillar, and tailgate.

A special Trophy Kit includes a roof rack, raised air intake, larger mudflaps, C-pillar panniers, and a roof ladder.

The cabin gets Ebony Windsor leather seats, aluminium sill plates, and dashboard accents matching the exterior color. Standard equipment includes a 13.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, digital instruments, wireless charging, three-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting.

The Trophy Edition runs on a 3-litre diesel engine producing 344.2 bhp and 700 Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive. Other engine options for the Defender 110 include 2-litre turbo-petrol, 5-litre supercharged V8, and 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 units.

While the Defender 110 competes with the Mercedes-Benz GLS, BMW X7, Audi Q7, and Volvo XC90 on price, its closest rivals in capability are the Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and Mercedes-Benz G-Class.
