The 2026 Defender Trophy Edition introduces distinctive exterior cues, high-spec features, and a tailored add-on package.
Land Rover has expanded its Defender lineup with a new iteration of the Trophy Edition — a special variant of the off-roading icon with adventure-ready styling and curated accessories. Building on recent updates across the Defender range, the 2026 Defender Trophy Edition introduces distinctive exterior cues, high-spec features, and a tailored add-on package.
The Trophy Edition will be available in two exclusive colour schemes: Keswick Green and Deep Sandglow Yellow. These are complemented by gloss black detailing on the bonnet and lower sections of the body, including the front and rear skid plates, wheel arch extensions, and new 20-inch alloy wheels finished in black. These wheels come standard with all-terrain tyres.
Designed with both urban and expedition use in mind, the Defender Trophy Edition will be offered with two powertrain options: the P400e plug-in hybrid and the D350 inline-six diesel. The P400e combines a petrol engine with an electric motor to offer a blend of performance and efficiency, while the D350 is aimed at buyers who prefer a traditional diesel setup. The diesel variant carries a modest price premium of £1,915 (₹2.22 lakh) over the hybrid.
Notably, the Trophy Edition includes the option of a £4,995 (₹5.80 lakh) curated accessories package, which adds practical gear such as a roof carrier, fold-down ladder, snorkel, mud flaps, and externally-mounted gear carriers. These accessories are tailored for rugged utility but are also designed to enhance everyday functionality. The package is finished with bespoke graphics and decals that echo the body’s paint theme, reinforcing the model’s adventurous persona.
Inside the cabin, the Defender Trophy Edition features Windsor leather upholstery in black, paired with the updated infotainment system introduced for the 2026 model year. A standout interior detail is the colour-matched steel dashboard back-plate, available in the same exterior shades — marking the first time Land Rover has extended the dashboard colour palette beyond neutral options like white, grey, and black.
The Trophy Edition is priced from £82,900 (₹96.33 lakh) for the P400e variant, excluding the optional accessories pack. While Land Rover has not declared the model to be production-limited, it has confirmed that it will be available for a limited period only, suggesting exclusivity through availability window rather than volume.
