Lexus has launched the LM 350h in India. The ultra-luxury MPV is available in both four-seater and seven-seater options, wherein the former is priced at ₹2.5 crore, and the latter will set you back by ₹2 crore (ex-showroom price, Delhi). We have already experienced the luxury-on-four-wheels and to get an idea of how opulent the Lexus LM is, read the review here.
The Lexus LM 350h is a hybrid model. So powering this luxurious MPV is a 190 bhp/ 242 Nm 2.5-litre inline-4 engine, which is paired with two electric motors. There’s a 180 bhp motor on the front axle and a 54 bhp motor on the rear axle. The combined power output of this setup is rated at 247 bhp, and consequently, the Lexus LM 350h also ends up with all-wheel drivetrain capability. Transmission duties are taken care of by a 6-speed CVT. There’s also a more powerful LM 500h trim, however, that model is reserved for global markets.
Keeping in line with the brand’s global design, the Lexus LM debuts a completely new exterior design. For starters, the front fascia now looks more sophisticated with the new grille design and making it look sharper is the sleek headlight design. Similarly, the rear fascia gets connected to tail lights that run across the width of the vehicle. On the side, new multi-spoke wheels and chrome-plated fixtures are the additional updates introduced with the MPV.
The cabin of the Lexus LM 350h is loaded to the brim with several segment-first features. For starters, the 48-inch ultrawide screen is one such highlight mounted on the dashboard. This unit offers both single and dual-screen viewing options and can be operated by a removal multi-operation panel. Additionally, it also debuts a new infrared rays matrix sensor air conditioning system which can be personalized for every occupant. Further enhancing the feel of the cabin are ventilated ottoman power seats that can recline fully. Enhancing the feel of the cabin are a 21-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, ambient lighting, and premium materials for the interior panels and seats.
There’s no dearth of safety with the Lexus LM. Available as part of the Lexus Safety System 3+, the MPV is equipped with pre-collision system vehicle detection, stationary/ preceding vehicle, dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure control, lane departure alert with steering assist, safe exit assist with door opening control, blind spot monitoring system, etc.
Bookings for the Lexus LM have already commenced across all Lexus dealerships in the country.
