Mahindra Launches BE 6 Formula E Edition; Price, Variant Details And More

Mahindra has launched the BE 6 Formula E Edition, which the company claims is the first Formula E-themed SUV in the world. The vehicle is priced at ₹23.69 lakh (ex-showroom) for the FE2 variant and ₹24.49 lakh for the FE3 variant with add-on features.

Bookings for the vehicle will open on 14 January 2026, with deliveries starting from 14 February 2026. The first 999 customers will receive a package of benefits, including a track-day experience at Mahindra's Proving Track with Kush Maini, a collector's box with Mahindra Racing memorabilia, and a photo and video of the delivery moment. Three customers will also get the chance to attend the London E-Prix in August 2026.

Kush Maini, FIA Formula 2 race winner and part of Mahindra's Formula E Racing team, will serve as the brand ambassador for Mahindra Electric Origin SUVs.

Specifications and Features

The BE 6 Formula E Edition comes with a 79 kWh battery pack and produces 282 bhp The vehicle accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 6.7 seconds and has a top speed of 202 km/h. Mahindra claims a range of 500 km on a single charge. The SUV supports charging from 20 to 80 per cent in 20 minutes using a 180 kW DC charger.

The exterior features a front bumper with circular projector headlamps, orange accents, R20 alloy wheels with a dark-tinted finish, and orange brake callipers. The vehicle is available in four colours: Everest White, Firestorm Orange, Tango Red, and Stealth Black. The interior has an orange theme with Formula E branding on the dashboard, seats, and seat belts.

Price Comparison

The Formula E Edition sits between the standard BE 6 variants in terms of pricing. The BE 6 range starts at ₹18.90 lakh for the Pack One variant and goes up to ₹26.90 lakh for the Pack Three variant with the 79 kWh battery. The Batman Edition, which Mahindra launched in August 2025 in collaboration with Warner Bros., is priced at ₹27.79 lakh and is limited to 300 units.

The Formula E Edition is priced ₹19,000 higher than the Pack Two 79 kWh variant, while the Batman Edition carries a premium of ₹89,000 over the Pack Three variant.
