Mahindra has expanded the Scorpio-N range with the introduction of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and a new Z8T variant, starting at ₹20.29 lakh (ex-showroom) for the petrol manual transmission, while the top-end Z8L (ADAS) 6-seater diesel 4WD AT is priced at ₹25.42 lakh (ex-showroom). The Scorpio-N becomes the latest model in Mahindra’s internal combustion engine (ICE) portfolio to offer Level 2 ADAS, previously limited to the brand’s EVs or the XUV 3XO, Thar Roxx and even the XUV700. The system is now available on the Z8L variant in both 6-seater and 7-seater configurations. The suite of ADAS technologies includes Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Smart Pilot Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, and High Beam Assist.
Additionally, the Scorpio-N ADAS package includes segment-first features such as Speed Limit Assist, which warns drivers about applicable speed limits, and Front Vehicle Start Alert, which notifies drivers when the vehicle ahead begins moving. These functions are integrated with visual alerts, acoustic chimes, and haptic feedback to enhance driver awareness and convenience.
The new top-tier Z8L variant is positioned between the Z8 and Z8L trims and incorporates several premium features, including 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a 12-speaker Sony audio system, Front parking sensors and front camera, 6-way powered driver seat, Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), Ventilated front seats, and Auto-dimming inside rear-view mirror (IRVM).
