Ahead of their debut on August 15, Mahindra has teased another angle of its four upcoming concept vehicles – Vision.S, Vision.X, Vision.T and Vision.SXT. After seeing the front and sides of these four concepts, we now have a hint of how the rear of these four concept SUVs will look like.
The Vision.X has the most curvy design language of the four concepts with an angular design. It could be a coupe SUV or even a crossover, given the curvy nature of the design. The Vision.T and Vision.SXT look like hard-core off-roaders as both can be seen with high ground clearance and chunky tyres. Both these concepts could be in the Thar range in Mahindra’s line-up. Both can be seen with stubby, squarish taillamps. Lastly, the Vision.S also looks like a rugged SUV but with a more urban-oriented design compared to the Vision.T and Vision.SXT.
All these four SUVs will be built using Mahindra’s new Freedom_NU platform which will be built at the brand’s plant in Chakan, Pune, alongside these four concepts. The Freedom_NU platform will have capability to have petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric powertrain options.
The new platform and the four concepts (Vision.S, Vision.X, Vision.T and Vision.SXT) will debut on August 15, keeping Mahindra’s tradition of unveiling new products and concepts on the Indian Independence Day.
