Mahindra XEV 9S is priced between ₹ 19.95 lakh — 30.20 lakh (ex-showroom).

Mahindra has added a new drive mode named ‘Custom’ to the XEV 9S. Launched in November 2025, this new drive mode has reportedly been added after feedback from the buyers who highlighted some concerns regarding the adaptive dampers. Some users complained about constant vertical movement inside the cabin due to the extra softness of the suspension.

This can now be addressed with the new ‘Custom’ mode that allows drivers to individually adjust the powertrain, steering, suspension, and climate control settings. This allows drivers to mix and match settings to suit their preferences. For instance, one can opt the Comfort mode for the powertrain and steering while retaining the suspension in the stiffer Race setting. The update is intended to provide greater flexibility than the fixed presets offered previously.

The new update is currently available on the top-spec Pack Three and Pack Three Above variants that come equipped with Intelligent Adaptive Suspension setup. With this addition, the Mahindra XEV 9S now offers a total of six modes including Default, Range, Everyday, Race, Snow, and Custom.
