Maruti Suzuki distributed approximately 165,000 cars during the festival's opening eight days.
India's biggest automaker, Maruti Suzuki India, has revealed a 26 per cent year-over-year manufacturing expansion for September. The increased vehicle output addresses growing market requirements during the festive season, says a report by NDTV Auto. According to Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer for Marketing and Sales at Maruti Suzuki, the company's manufacturing and logistics divisions are operating on weekends and public holidays to maintain delivery schedules and meet the production surge.

NDTV Profit reported quoted Banerjee as saying, "This is one of the best Navratras that we have seen in the last 10 years."
The automotive giant distributed approximately 165,000 cars during the festival's opening eight days, establishing a new company milestone for the past decade. September's retail performance demonstrated a 27.5 per cent increase compared to the corresponding month in the previous year, with the manufacturer expressing optimism about reaching 200,000 delivery units in the near term.

Manufacturing of utility vehicle models including the Brezza, Ertiga and Fronx registered a 27 per cent annual increase, totaling 79,496 units. This represents substantial growth from the 62,752 units manufactured during the equivalent timeframe last year.
The Eeco model also experienced production expansion, rising to 13,201 units compared to 11,702 vehicles in September of the preceding year.
