Maruti Suzuki True Value Crosses 60 Lakh Sales Milestone In 24 Years

Maruti Suzuki True Value, the used car division of the Indian auto giant, has crossed the 60 lakh sales milestone since its inception in 2001. In the last financial year (FY 25), True Value sold nearly 4.93 lakh cars. 

Since 2001, Maruti Suzuki has built a network of 606 True Value dealerships across 305 cities in the country. True Value also has a 376-point quality check and uses only Maruti Suzuki Genuine Parts. All cars go through verification of service, vehicle documentation and more before they are put up for sale. True Value also provides warranty of up to a year as well as three free services. 

Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “Established over two decades ago, Maruti Suzuki True Value has consistently been a top consideration for a diverse demography of customers as a reliable and safe pre-owned car channel. Currently, it holds strong preference among young customers with an average age of 31 years. In fact, 85 per cent of True Value customers are first-time buyers.”

True Value also has a smartphone app and a website that allows customers to browse through the collection it has for sale. Maruti Suzuki also offers financing for the cars sold through True Value, with financing available from public and private banks as well as Non Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs). 

Rivals of True Value like OLX, Spinny, Cars24, Mahindra First Choice, CarTrade and Carwale haven’t revealed their sales data yet. Acko Drive has reached out to Mahindra to get sales figures for First Choice and will update this story as and when we receive a response.
