The MCPura has the same mechanicals as the MC20 but has cosmetic differences.
Maserati unveiled the facelifted version of the MC20, and it not only gets cosmetic updates but also a new name. Gone is the MC20, and in comes the MCPura. It gets a new face and a new cabin, but the mechanicals have remained unchanged. The Maserati MCPura was unveiled at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed. The MCPura is offered as a coupe and a convertible, with the latter being called the MCPura Cielo.

While the grille of the MCPura is the same as the MC20, the bumper is now more streamlined with larger air intakes beneath the same headlamps as its predecessor. The design of the alloy wheels is also more of an evolution than a revolution compared to the ones on the MC20. You’d have to really look hard to find the difference in the design of the rear of the two cars, since the only difference is the slightly altered bumper in the MCPura.

Interestingly, the biggest difference in the cabin is the use of more Alcantara than the MC20 and a new steering wheel. Apart from that, there’s nothing really different from the MC20. The MCPura has the same touchscreen, same virtual cluster and the same dashboard layout as the MC20.

Powering the MCPura is the same 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine which Maserati calls the Nettuno. It produces 621 bhp and 730 Nm, with power being sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission. 0-100 kmph is said to happen in a claimed 2.9 seconds and top speed is over 320 kmph (claimed).

For the uninitiated, Pura in Italian means Pure and Maserati claims the MCPura is “an expression of the purest energy and performance the Trident (Maserati) way”.
