Matter Motor, an Ahmedabad-based electric vehicle start-up, has exciting news for EV enthusiasts across India. The company has announced the pre-booking dates for its highly anticipated offering, the Matter Aera. This electric motorbike is set to become India's first geared electric bike, boasting enhanced features and performance capabilities. Starting May 17, 2023, pre-booking options will be available for both the Aera 5000 and Aera 5000+ models, with a pre-registration price of Rs. 1.44 lakh.
Matter Motor has revealed that pre-bookers of the Aera will also be eligible for a special early bird price offer, adding even more value to the already attractive proposition. Matter is offering customers across 25 cities in India to pre-book the Matter Aera electric motorcycle through a variety of online channels, including the company's website and e-commerce giant Flipkart.
One of the standout features of the Matter Aera is its 4-speed Hyper-Shift manual gearbox, which allows it to go from 0 to 60 kmph in under 6 seconds. The liquid-cooled battery and powertrain system ensure maximum efficiency and power, providing a range of up to 125 km on a single charge.
Connectivity features are also a key aspect of Matter Aera's design, with a 7-inch touchscreen display enabling internet connectivity, navigation support, music playback, and call functions. Additionally, the bike is equipped with a 5-amp onboard charging system, making charging on the go a breeze.
The Matter Aera will be available at 50 dealerships across 25 districts in India, including major cities such as Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad. Matter says its extensive distribution network will ensure that customers from all corners of the country can experience the Matter Aera.
