Mercedes-Benz India will launch a new ‘Collector’s Edition’ of the AMG G 63 on June 12, 2025. The new ‘Special Edition’ is said to be inspired by India and will be a tribute to the Indian tapestry and landscape. Details about the new special edition should be revealed closer to the launch.
The Collector’s Edition was developed in collaboration with Mercedes-Benz India and Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India. The ‘Collector’s Edition’ will also be showcased by both on June 12. The teasers show a G 63 finished in a shade of Orange with Silver wheels. No teaser for the interior has been shared yet.
The G 63 gets a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine producing 577 bhp and 850 Nm, sending power to all four wheels via a 9-speed dual-clutch automatic. We don’t expect the ‘Collector’s Edition’ to have any change in power output. Also, don’t expect any changes in the features on offer with the G 63.
The standard G 63 is priced at ₹3.64 crore (ex-showroom, India), and we expect the ‘Collector’s Edition’ to have a hefty premium since it will be available in limited quantities.
