The updated MG e-Hub app comes with new features such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, Charger Review and Ratings, Smart Trip Planner, Nearby Amenities, etc.
JSW MG Motor India has announced that its EV charging platform, e-Hub by MG, has become India’s largest unified charging application, listing more than 22,500 charging points across the country. The company said the platform now integrates 40 charge point operators (CPOs), bringing multiple charging networks onto a single interface for electric vehicle users.
The app aggregates charging infrastructure from operators including Jio-bp, Tata Power, Adani Group, Shell, Zeon Charging, ChargeZone and Bharat Petroleum. By bringing these networks together, the platform aims to simplify the process of locating and accessing EV chargers.
According to JSW MG Motor, the e-Hub by MG app has crossed 150,000 downloads since launch. Alongside this milestone, several new features have been added to improve usability and trip planning for EV owners.
The latest update introduces support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing drivers to access charging information directly through compatible infotainment systems.Other additions include charger reviews and ratings, a smart trip planner, and the ability to view nearby amenities at charging locations. These features are intended to help users plan routes more efficiently and choose charging stations based on availability and user feedback.
The e-Hub platform allows EV owners to locate charging stations, reserve slots and make payments through a single application. Importantly, the service is available not only to MG customers but also to users of other electric vehicles.
Speaking on the occasion, Vinay Raina, Chief Commercial Officer, JSW MG Motor India, said, “It is inspiring to witness the rapidly growing community of EV users, both MG and non-MG customers, embrace the e-Hub by MG app. What excites us the most is how effortlessly it is helping customers navigate their EV journeys, whether planning their long road trips or simply looking for the nearest available charger.”

With EV adoption steadily increasing in India, unified platforms that combine charging infrastructure across operators are becoming increasingly important for improving convenience and accessibility for drivers.
